Roll your d 20

I am very excited this week because we are actually get a D&D(Dungeons and dragons) group together for the dorms.

I haven't played D&D in ages and it is such a very amazing game for one with a massive imagination like myself.

The game is so open ended and allow you to pull off so much with so little.

I have been playing D&D since the wee age of fourteen or so.

The game really help develop my imgination allowing me to learn how to write a lot easier and develop some what acting skills.

Not to mention it allowed me to build some self confidence up for myself.

The game is pretty simple you roll dice, add modifiers and play through a story usually ran by a DM aka a dungeon master who is basically god through the game.

Also next week is another amazing game launch that I have been waiting for. A new Castlevania, I really do love this game I mean LOVE I have been playing them since I was 9 years old and could hold a NES controller.

They are very HP Lovecraft ish when it comes to their monster designs and it makes me very happy to see someone draw from that wealth of information due to my love of the lovecraft novels.

The gameplay usually consists of a lot of exploration and combat and of course massive insane and some times infuriating boss battles which add to the flair of the game and makes the series even more desirable to me.

Lots of things coming up in this next week so I am going to get off and finish up some other work.

Road trips and family.

Well this weekend has been a strange one.

My grandfather was hospitlized this weekend due to his emphyzeema and I ended up driving home this very weekend to see him and check on how things were going.

The drive itself was not very bad just very long and tiresome. It is a 3 hour drive to my house and another hour drive to the hospital he was staying at. There were quite a few family members I havent seen there and it was nice to re connect with some of them.

It is also quite amazing to see the number of people who have a facebook lol.

My grandfather as always was in good spirit and gave me a good hazing due to the fact I am still smoking which I am planning on quitting here soon. Which let me tell you is no easy feat in by its self.

I am currently updating this on my parents old desktop which is a piece of utter shit to put it bluntly and excuse my french.

I also had a chance while I was here to visit some of my old friends and spend some time with them which quite nice. It is always a change to come back after an extended period and see how much some people have changed in the span of two months.

Well it is getting late here and I am driving back to SPSU in the am so I will end this here so I can go play some halo reach and doze off to sleep in my room toodles.

Reach will FALL!

Oh my god, I almost forgot to post in this stupid thing it has been a hellacious week.

First, 2 tests in the same week and one being a final at my old college. Yeesh my brain feels like silly putty or someone completely fried it with a thermal nuclear bomb.

I passed my final in my MYSql class which made me jump for joy in ways I cant describe. I offically finished the class with a 97 in it which makes me extremely happy. That means I still have a 3.9 at my old college which will help so much with my GPA.

Secondly, HALO REACH!!!

Reach came out this week. Holy shit balls man. The game is my crack cocaine. Me and my friend Pj beat it on legendary the first night. Doing co op through the story mode. Holy crap was that hard and I never knew I could cuss in such new and amazing ways that would even rival the great late Richard Pryor.

The story is amazing and the graphics with an HDMI cable is insane to behold on the giant tv's we have in the lobbies. The game it self is very intuitive and the new armor abilities in MP are amazing. I really do have such a love for jet packs and wish they were in more games and used a lot more in first person shooters.

I really have to say for all its trials and tribulations this has been one of the greatest weeks at SPSU yet. I am really loving this campus and the people I have met so far. It is a nice change from what I am used to at my old town.

Well toodles I am going to go pass out now.

My parents are vampires and I have netflix.

So yesterday the parents came down to visit hip hip hooray!

I got free food and free groceries gota love that.

We went to some mom and pops restaurant with an all you can eat ribs special.

Needless to say I am going to need a new heart soon due to blockage.

I also went and saw Machette yesterday.

Which was pure adrenaline spiking amazing.

Its a throw back to the old 80 exploitation films that I know and love. I also fount out that gardening tools can be used in ways never thought of to kill people which was pretty entertaining to say the least.

And the movie had a big point behind it talking about immigration and illegal aliens through out. Danny trejo does an amazing job as a leading blow shit up bad ass to be blunt.

Cheech Marlin also makes a cameo appearance and does a great job as Machettes brother/Priest.

Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez play some very important roles but, are mostly there in the movie for eye candy.

Robert De Nero plays a crazy texas senator which is realllly hillarious to see him do and pull off as well as he does.

Lindsey Lohan plays a complete parody of her self as an ass kicking nun. I was almost in tears seeing her a nun the way they play it off is really hillarious and strange.

Overall go see machette it is amazing. I will for warn you it is one of the most graphic movies I have seen in terms of some of the violence.

Slacking procrastination and hot sauce.

So this has been a really amazing weekend so far.

Friday I got to go to the Vortex for the first time. That place is now one of my favorite places ever. I love the atmosphere and the food. Not to mention their beer selection is really really huge beyond belief.

I went with my friend Jason and some of his friends. I just felt so awkard cause I was the only one there who could legally drink. Even though I paid eight dollars for a single Guinness.

I have also discoverd a new favorite whiskey. Evan willams honey. This stuff is like the nectar of gods. God it is so good, I had a few shots of it at the vortex. (I wasnt driving) Drinking and driving is stupid and ignornant.

Also while waiting on our table we went running around downtown Atlanta.

That place is huge!

I am not used to the big city life but, I gota say it was a nice change from what I am used to. Coming from the middle of no where to here is like going from de caff diet soda to Mountain Dew Voltage.

We got to meet a lot of hobos and I got to see a hobo magician which I have to say was an unique experience. They actually had some pretty good tricks and was very entertaining for the most part.

I have also been exposed to so many good bands so far. My favorite thus far being blonde redhead. They are amazing I mean reallly amazing and they also sound like NIN which makes me very happy.

Random activities and a new tattoo

Labor day weekend has been amazing. I went to a local tattoo shop and finally got a new tattoo. Is healing at the moment and it hurts alot.

They had to unfounately its starting to begin the raw part of the healing process.

It was alot of fun to actually go and get it done I love getting tattoos and the whole process minus the healing part.

I will add a picture later when it is healed up completely. I went to a friends apartment to get it done. They have their own set up with in their garage.

I have it over my chest at the moment and it has a lepercauhn and IRISH PRIDE with a irish flag is flying about in the back ground.

The worst part was when they were going over my rib cage. The needle might be small but it hurts so bad when it goes over bones. So so bad over the bones.

It took about 3-4 hours to complete the tattoo.

It looks sooooo good sooo very good and has me very very happy.

I also took the time saturday to complete the majority of my homework complete so labor day I can rest on monday before the week starts again.

Parents are coming down this upcoming weekend and I am so happy be nice to see them for the first time since I have moved in. I really do miss them quite a bit and I miss my dog at home.

Late night ramblings of an insomnic fueled by yoohoo

Some thoughts always pop in my head at these late hours of the night wondering about things. If we would go back and change certain choices over the course of are life time would we really want to?

This question always seems to seep into my mind during some choices I have made over the 23 years of my life and I always come back to one said situation that was almost life changing to me.

I am not going to go into great detail about it but, if I had chose diffrenetly if I took the right turn instead of the left turn how much would be different right now in my life.

I guess for one I wouldn't be in college. Secondly I would probbally be working at a carpet mill making decent pay trying to support certain things that shall not be named.

Why do these questions always pop up late at night while I am trying to sleep and I wake up from such a horrible nightmare to reality reminding myself that I made the choice on this road that I call part of my life and I sometimes wonder if it was the right choice that I made.
I guess in the end we have to accept the choices we have made over our life because we will always answer for them.

They define us, make us who we are, and influence us for the rest of our natural lives.
I know this post is just for an english assignment but, damnit I got a little carried away by a very strange conversation I had on the phone while I was smoking that brought back some buried and strange feelings from a long time ago that should stay with the past.

Now time for sleep and have dreams about SWTFU2!!
